Membership is open to anyone who is concerned with human resource issues. Whether your title is owner or secretary or human resource manager, the benefits are plentiful as a member of a SHRM affiliated chapter.

Instructions for Using the Online Membership System

1.  For existing SHRM West Central Ohio Members wishing to renew:

• Follow this LINK to access our e-commerce page. 
• Enter your username (your email address). The system will acknowledge you by first name when logged into the MightEvent System. You should see a welcome message on the top left corner of the screen. 
• Use the “Forgot password” option if necessary. Once in the system, click on the MEMBERSHIP tab and follow the steps to complete your purchase. 

2.  For NEW PROSPECTIVE SHRM West Central Ohio Members wishing to join the chapter who ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT in our ecommerce system: 

• Follow this LINK to access our e-commerce page. 
• Enter your username (your email address). The Follow this LINK to access our e-commerce page. Enter your username (your email address). The system will acknowledge you by first name when logged into the MightEvent System. You should see a welcome message on the top left corner of the screen. 
• Use the “Forgot password” option if necessary. Once in the system – click on the MEMBERSHIP tab and select the appropriate membership option. 
• Complete the application fields and submit. 
• Finish the payment process and the application process is finished. At this point – the SHRM West Central Ohio Membership team takes over the review and approval process. system will acknowledge you by first name when logged into the MightEvent System. You should see a welcome message on the top left corner of the screen. 

3.  For NEW PROSPECTIVE SHRM West Central Ohio Members wishing to join the chapter who are brand new to the ecommerce system:

• Follow this LINK to take you to the membership options available in the SHRM West Central Ohio Chapter.
• The system will ask you for some quick demographic information related to billing. 
• Based on the type of membership selected, the system will then offer you a specific online application. Complete the application and submit. 
• Finish the payment process and the application process is finished. 
• At this point – the SHRM West Central Ohio Membership team takes over the review and approval process.
